What businesses are doing

Across the city, businesses are now well versed in delivering COVID Safe services and events. They have implemented enhanced health and safety measures to ensure the safety of their staff and guests for travel, leisure, and business events; and many feature the 'We're COVID Safe' logo to demonstrate their commitment to the NSW Covid Safety Business program.

Transport NSW 'No Dot, No Spot'

Distinctive green dots on public transport show the safest places to sit and stand. A ‘No dot, no spot’ rule applies - this means if there’s no room to travel and maintain social distancing safely, you may be asked to wait for the next service. Passengers still need to leave a space or an empty seat between themselves.

Physical distancing measures

Following public health advice, a physical distance of 1.5 metres has been put in place to stop the spread of COVID-19.  Businesses such as supermarkets, shopping centres, restaurants and cafes have designated signs to indicate the 1.5 metre distance required.
