Originally the customs' shopfront, The Barnet Long Room has been beautifully restored as an elegant function room and is suited to a variety of events including conferences, cocktail events, exhibitions and wedding receptions. The venue features an open-plan space with natural light, high ceiling and parquetry floor, and is complemented with modern audio visual technology and staging facilities. Access to a spacious adjoining lounge, private boardroom and magnificent balcony overlooking Customs Square is included with venue hire. Unique, stylish and well-equipped, The Barnet Long Room at Customs House is centrally positioned in the heart of Circular Quay and is within walking distance of The Sydney Opera House, The Rocks precinct, city hotels and public transport.
The Pre-Function lounge comprises three interconnected rooms. The balcony is accessible directly from the Pre-Function Lounge and the space is furnished with lounge chairs, floating lounges and side tables.
A spacious balcony running the length of the main room and overlooking Customs Square is accessible from the Barnet Long Room, VIP Boardroom and Pre-Function Lounge.
