Museums of History NSW is the State’s first cultural institution dedicated to the preservation and appreciation of history, responsible for 12 of the most important historic houses in NSW. Our sites are suited to accommodate smaller offshoot events to compliment larger conferences to create a bespoke experience for your delegates. Our team offers a range of venue hire spaces such as The Mint featuring striking architecture and award-winning spaces, Museum of Sydney which was built on the site of Australia’s first Government House, Justice & Police Museum featuring character-filled spaces rich in Sydney’s underworld history, Vaucluse House, a 19th-century mansion with the estate stretching down to the harbour’s edge, Elizabeth Bay House with its majestic views across Sydney Harbour and Hyde Park Barracks our UNESCO world heritage listed site located in the historic precinct of Macquarie Street.
