Sydney Showground is an award winning multi-purpose venue located at Sydney Olympic Park. Awarded Best Venue at the 2014 Australian Event Awards and Best Venue Team at the 2015 EEAA Awards of Excellence, the venue has been utilised as a preferred venue for the biggest and best event experiences to come to Sydney. Such events include public and trade exhibitions, conferences, gala dinners, product launches, film shoots, sport, concerts and Australia’s largest ticketed event, the Sydney Royal Easter Show. As Sydney’s largest banquet venue with capacity up to 11,000 and award winning catering that utilises the finest Australian ingredients, Sydney Showground offers large groups the ideal Gala Dinner option. Having previously hosted Amway China in The Dome, the unique venues offer a big experience. In 2014, Sydney Showground hosted two of the largest International conferences to come to Sydney. The 19,653 delegate 105th Rotary International Convention and 6,000 delegate IUCN World Parks Congress both saw large International and Domestic guests and dignitaries converge to Sydney Showground for the large plenary, large exhibition and numerous breakout and function spaces available at Sydney Olympic Park.
